God Will Finish What He Started.
God Will Finish What He Started
Scripture: Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Today's Devotion
There are seasons in life when we begin to question whether the things God has promised will ever come to pass. We have prayed, believed, sacrificed, and remained faithful, yet some things still appear unfinished.
But here is something we must remember: God never begins a work without having the power to complete it.
What looks unfinished to you is not forgotten by God.
You may be waiting for restoration in your family, healing in your body, financial breakthroughs, growth in your ministry, or direction concerning your future. Whatever the situation, do not allow the length of the process to cause you to question the faithfulness of God.
Sometimes God is doing His greatest work in places we cannot see.
Consider Joseph. His journey took him from the pit to slavery, from prison to the palace. Every season looked different, but God's purpose remained the same.
The pit did not cancel his promise. The prison did not destroy his destiny. And the delay did not prevent God's appointed purpose from unfolding.
Your present circumstances do not determine the limits of God's ability.
Remember these three truths:
God is faithful to His Word. What He has spoken will accomplish His purpose. (Isaiah 55:11)
God is working even when you cannot see it. He is able to work through every circumstance for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
God supplies strength to continue. You do not have to accomplish His assignment through your strength alone. (Isaiah 40:31)
Do not surrender your faith because the process is taking longer than expected.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep walking in obedience. Keep your heart open to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
God is still working on you, in you, and through you.
The work may not be finished, but God is not finished working.
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your faithfulness and for every good work You have begun in our lives. Today, we surrender every unfinished situation, unanswered question, and burden we have been carrying.
Father, strengthen our faith when the journey becomes difficult. Restore our confidence when discouragement attempts to take hold. Give us wisdom to recognize Your direction and courage to follow Your instructions.
We ask for supernatural restoration in our families, healing in our bodies, peace in our minds, provision for our needs, and renewed strength for every assignment You have entrusted to us.
Where there has been delay, teach us patience. Where there has been loss, bring restoration according to Your will. Where there has been confusion, establish clarity. And where there has been weakness, demonstrate Your strength.
Let everything You are developing within us bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ.
We declare that our confidence is not in circumstances, people, or resources, but in the faithfulness of Almighty God.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Today's Declaration
I will not give up in the middle of the process. God is faithful, His Word is true, and His grace is sufficient. I will continue walking by faith, trusting Him to complete the good work He has begun in me.
