Today’s Theme: God Gives You Strength for What He Has Called You to Do

Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Leadership carries weight.

There are responsibilities people see, and there are burdens they never know you carry. There are decisions to make, people depending on you, prayers still waiting for answers, and assignments that sometimes seem larger than the strength you have available.

But God never intended for you to accomplish His assignment in your own strength.

When God calls you, He also equips you.

When He sends you, He sustains you.

When the responsibility increases, His grace is already sufficient for the responsibility.

You may wake up some mornings feeling strong and confident. Other mornings, you may wonder how you are going to handle everything in front of you.

That is exactly where dependence upon God becomes powerful.

God does not require you to have tomorrow’s strength today.

He gives you daily bread, daily grace, daily wisdom, and daily strength.

The strength you need for today will be available today.

The wisdom you need for the decision will be available when you seek Him.

The provision for the assignment will come according to His purpose and timing.

Do not measure your ability only by what you currently see in yourself.

Moses saw his limitations.

Gideon saw his weakness.

David saw a giant.

Paul understood human weakness.

But God saw what each of them could accomplish through His power.

The same God is working in you.

There are things God has placed in your hands because He knew you could carry them with Him.

Leadership is not proving how strong you are.

Leadership is knowing where your strength comes from.

So today, do not become overwhelmed by the entire journey.

Handle today’s assignment.

Make today’s decision.

Pray today’s prayer.

Take today’s step.

Encourage the person God places before you.

Complete what God gives you grace to complete.

And trust Him with what remains unfinished.

God is already standing in your tomorrow.

You are not walking toward an unknown future alone. You are walking toward a future where God has already gone before you.

Today’s Leadership Reminder

You do not need enough strength for the entire journey today. You only need the grace and strength God provides for today’s assignment.

Keep moving.

Keep believing.

Keep praying.

Keep leading.

God has not brought you this far to abandon the work now.

Prayer

Father, thank You for another day and another opportunity to serve You.

Thank You for every assignment, responsibility, person, ministry, business, family member, and opportunity You have entrusted to us.

Lord, where we are tired, strengthen us.

Where we are uncertain, give us wisdom.

Where we are discouraged, restore our confidence.

Where we feel overwhelmed, remind us that we were never called to carry everything without You.

Give us grace for today.

Give us wisdom for every decision.

Give us patience with the people we lead.

Give us discernment concerning every opportunity placed before us.

Close every door that would distract us from Your purpose, and open every door necessary to accomplish Your will.

Help us not to depend upon our own understanding, experience, titles, resources, or abilities, but to continually acknowledge You as the true source of our strength.

We thank You in advance for provision.

We thank You in advance for direction.

We thank You in advance for favor.

We thank You in advance for opportunities we have not yet seen.

And we thank You that everything You have called us to accomplish will be completed according to Your purpose and Your timing.

Today we choose faith over fear, obedience over hesitation, and confidence in You over confidence in ourselves.

Strengthen our hands for the work.

Strengthen our hearts for the journey.

And let everything we accomplish bring glory to You.
