## Today’s Theme: We Were Never Called to Build Alone

**1 Corinthians 3:9** — “For we are labourers together with God…”

One of the greatest privileges of our relationship with Jesus Christ is that He does not simply save us and then send us out to figure life out by ourselves.

He invites us into **fellowship, relationship, and partnership with Him.**

Jesus wants to walk with us in every area of our lives.

He wants to be involved in our families.

He wants to be involved in our decisions.

He wants to be involved in our careers.

He wants to be involved in our ministries.

And He certainly wants to be involved in the **Kingdom business** He has called us to accomplish.

Sometimes we can become so focused on doing something *for God* that we forget we are supposed to be doing it **with God.**

There is a major difference.

When we attempt to carry the assignment alone, we depend on our own intelligence, resources, relationships, strength, and understanding.

But when Jesus becomes our partner, everything changes.

His wisdom becomes available.

His direction becomes available.

His provision becomes available.

His favor becomes available.

His strength becomes available.

And His Spirit begins guiding us into opportunities and relationships we could never manufacture ourselves.

Jesus said:

**“Without me ye can do nothing.” — John 15:5**

That does not mean we cannot be busy.

We can work extremely hard without Him.

We can build programs without Him.

We can create organizations without Him.

We can make plans without Him.

But Kingdom work requires **Kingdom partnership.**

God may give you the vision, but He also wants to give you the strategy.

God may give you the assignment, but He also wants to introduce you to the people necessary to accomplish it.

God may open the door, but He also wants to give you wisdom concerning how to walk through it.

That is the beauty of fellowship with Jesus.

We are not merely servants receiving instructions from a distant Master.

Through Christ, we have been brought into relationship with God.

We can pray.

We can ask.

We can listen.

We can seek direction.

We can receive correction.

And we can move forward knowing that the One who gave us the assignment is also willing to help us accomplish it.

## Kingdom Business Is Still God’s Business

Whatever God has placed in your hands—ministry, business, leadership, outreach, teaching, giving, discipleship, missions, or serving others—invite Him into every part of it.

Before the meeting, pray.

Before the decision, pray.

Before the partnership, pray.

Before signing the agreement, pray.

Before spending the money, pray.

Before launching the program, pray.

Before walking through the door, ask:

**“Lord, is this Your direction?”**

Jesus is not intimidated by the practical details of our lives.

He understands budgets.

He understands resources.

He understands leadership.

He understands relationships.

He understands timing.

He understands people.

And He understands exactly what will be required to accomplish the Kingdom assignment He has placed before us.

Our responsibility is to remain connected to Him.

His responsibility is to lead.

## Today’s Declaration

**I am not working alone.**

Jesus Christ is my Savior, my Lord, my Counselor, my Provider, and my partner in every Kingdom assignment He has placed in my hands.

I will not depend solely upon my own understanding.

I will seek His wisdom.

I will follow His direction.

I will trust His timing.

I will recognize the people He sends.

I will walk through the doors He opens.

And I will have the wisdom to walk away from the doors He has not ordained.

What God has called me to do, **He will help me accomplish.**

## Prayer

**Father,**

Thank You for the privilege of having fellowship with You through Jesus Christ.

Thank You that You did not call us into Your Kingdom and then leave us to navigate life alone.

Teach us to recognize that You desire partnership with us in every area of our lives.

Be involved in our families.

Be involved in our relationships.

Be involved in our businesses.

Be involved in our ministries.

Be involved in our finances.

Be involved in our leadership.

And be involved in every Kingdom assignment You have placed before us.

Give us wisdom where we lack understanding.

Give us direction when the road is unclear.

Give us discernment concerning the people we partner with.

Open the doors that are ordained by You and close the doors that would distract us from Your purpose.

Provide the resources necessary to accomplish the vision You have given us.

Send the right people at the right time.

Give us creative ideas, divine strategies, favor, strength, courage, and discipline.

Most importantly, remind us every day that we are not simply working **for You**.

We are working **with You.**

May everything we build advance Your Kingdom, bless people, strengthen families, equip leaders, spread the Gospel, and ultimately bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ.

**In Jesus’ name, Amen.**

### Today’s Thought

**Never become so busy doing Kingdom business that you forget to include the King in the business.**

We are **labourers together with God.**
